Alison Moore, RN

Alison brings over13 years nursing and oncology experience to Chattanooga’s Program In Women’s Oncology.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga in 1994.  However, her love for her oncology patients and their families began during her nursing internship the year prior to completing her nursing degree. Throughout her nursing career as a floor nurse, a home health case manger, an oncology educator, and now as the chemotherapy nurse, Alison strives to meet the needs of her patients and their families as they go through this difficult time.

Alison is an oncology certified registered nurse.  She also became one of the area’s first Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course Instructors training oncology nurses throughout the region in cancer care standards.  She has been a board member of the Chattanooga Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society including vice president and president..  Alison was a charter board member of the Southeast Tennessee Division of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) involved in ovarian cancer awareness in the region.  She has worked with the American Cancer Society to provide patient education and patient programs.  Alison’s dedication to the cancer patient and their families is multifaceted to ensure the highest level of cancer care.
